Morro Bay
"The Gibraltar of the Pacific"
Hikes
Morro Bay is filled with many hiking trails of various difficulties. A few of my favorites are Black Hill and Cerro Cabrillo.
Dining
There are unique restaurants across Morro Bay's downtown with tasty food and drinks. Some local favorites are Giovanni's Fish Market and Galley, House of Juju, or even Dorn's Breakers Cafe. There are many options for you to choose!
Morro Rock
A 50-acre rock located in the shore of Morro Bay, you cannot miss Morro Rock from how massive and astonishing this volcanic plug is. There are locations around Morro Rock to explore with parking areas located directly near the rock. Exploring this location is a requirement when visiting Morro Bay!
Biking
There are lots of trails located around Morro Bay for biking, especially near the Morro Rock. Even if you don't have a bike, there are bike rental services located across the downtown area for you to use to explore the beauty of Morro Bay!
Kayaking/SUP
Kayaking/SUP is a go-to activity as the peaceful waters of the bay allow you to explore the Morro Rock and the small stretch of land located near Morro Bay State Park. There are also many kayak rental services located across the downtown area for you to check out!
